Korean Skin Care For Beginners: How to Get The “Glass Skin” Look In this post, you will find a beginner-friendly guide to following the K-Beauty.

Divyanshi Vijay 0

What exactly is “glass skin”?

“Glass skin” refers to a dewy and naturally glowing look.

The texture of glass skin is “clear, hydrated, plump, bright and naturally radiant“.

Some may consider it smooth and poreless, as in you do not see its texture on its surface, similar to actual glass. Although for the most part the idea behind Glass Skin is healthy and not perfect-looking skin: with proper care and good use of some ingredients, the focus here is not on having no pores, but in helping you achieve well-nourished, smooth skin with as few imperfections as possible and naturally radiant and dewy, which is a part of K-beauty: where beauty ideals focus on “prevention, protection, the avoidance of harsh ingredients or treatments and the maintenance of the integrity of skin at all cost“.

How Is This Useful for Skincare Newbies?

A detailed Glass Skinroutine: (MorningRoutine)

step 1: Gentle cleansing Step 1 in any great skincare routine is good old cleansing and everyone, it just is and without it it is just worthless.

Whether you have dry or oily skin, sensitive or acne-prone, no matter skin type will ever get clear until it is clean.

For a glass skin effect, it is imperative to prevent clog pores that give the skin dull. So, pick cleanser according to your type: for dry skin, I use a creamiest, lotion-based, sulfate-free one, and if I were an oily or combo skin user, the gel one would be perfect for you. Also add facial scrub only 1 a week so you will not strip and give your face dryness which contradicts the ”dehyration “ on my face that causes all those unsightly lines

Step 2:Apply a Hydrating Toner Tones remove dead skin cell with in our skin to begin with and give its PH balanced to absorb best skin Products.

Best skin Product for this stage: you should seek for Korean brand’s rice-water extracts tones or hyaluronic-acid toners that you won’t dry out skin

Step 3: Use Essence If you have never use an essence, you do not know what you are missing on! Essence for K beauty “a bridge between a toner and a serum.” This light serum will help you retain any leftover moisture to ready your skin for the serum.

It also boosts your skin’s ability to repair, hydrate and get smoother.

Essences are light so I make certain I just about soak up some toner into the pores so nothing will escape

Step 4: Serum Applying serum as part of the Glass Skin Routine “as a high-powered, targeted delivery of concentrated ingredients”. For a clear, glass skin effect this implies; a targeted skin type based on ingredients like Vitamin E or hyaluronic acid; an AHA such as the fruit-based and light lactic acid, which will aid in exfoliating and lightening, such as hyaluronic acid that helps keep you plump!

What are we in for?

Make it a Routine.

It will give your face clarity, and evenness, it can be effective against scars and even fight age spots. Just be careful on active treatment such as AFA; It can get irritant so follow theinstructions

Step 5:Moisturizer You apply lotion, creams & Ointments-all are moisturizers right? Well, kind of : “ moisturizers” include everything which we will get from loton the one which is lightest and is very best for the gel to be the closest thing what we will call,” Skin texture ” but if You have dry skin “lotion is your go-too” for example..you’ll need one more moisturizing than just dry/combo

Step 6:Never skip Sun sunscreen!

You protect all the hard work you are doing so wear sunscreen! “Protect skin” is “helping out the progress” and it needs to keep our skin free of harmful ultra-violet sun’s radiation which leads to dark spots as well as wrinkles, and dullness so remember your UV Protect! Preferably one with SPF 30 #GlassSkinNight Routine

Step 1: Take away the makeup Remove the Makeup: Take off any make-up, likefoundation, or even lipstickand remove it throughmicellar water, cleasing balmsor cleansing oils [depending on your type of make up toRemove.

Step 2: Clean face Wash your face again with youruseful cleaner to ready skin from night treatments.

Step 3: Application of TREATMENT PRODUCTS At night time our skin gets some treatment product from a serum or anything that helps it regenerate better (such as a retinoid, AHA and much more), “Night” works great and gives opportunity to use more treatments on” your ” face so take time. Use a hydrating serum if your focusis to moisturize or Vitamin C if a glow is desired or a spot fighter is sought Niacinamide is useful to help clear away post acne pigmentation

Step 4 apply moisturiserApply moisturizer “ to provide our “ skin hydration. During the night when our body is healing as well as regenerates. It all will helps to keep skin smooth and prevent some dry patches from the air.

Ingredients That Will Help YouAchieve The “GlassSkin” Look..

Hyaluronicacid-“ it’s a miracle hydrating ingredient that draws moisture into your Skinand helps keep it plump”..- Hyaluronic acid for glass skin may sound a bit tricky , since most glass “skins “ will refer to well dehydrated as not plummy “ Skins” and yes a skin with too much to no hydration cannot appear ‘ glass’. – Hyaluronic acid does attract other moisture from air so we may use a lighter moisturizer than a really greasy type Niacinamide-The “all-in-one”. This powerful skincare ingredient can help improve uneven skin tone, soften fines lines, minimize the look of pore. It will “keep your skin hydrated so keep applying your hyaluronic acid even if you are seeing it too dry because hyaluronic will help bring the water in and and a bit too much it helps keep skin smooth ” .

It does much good to post inflammatorypigment – you can consider adding Hyarulnic acid andNiacinamide to” this “glass skin process. Vitamin C,” It reduces the oxidative and photo-damage” from UVA & UV rays,” that help to “brighten” and leave your skin with a lovely “glow “ ,” so use this” one thing every day in the morning The riceextract(soothingtoners) It contains ceramides which maintain the skin barrier’s balance and repair’s skin barrier… it can calm sensitive or irritation. Ceramide is another key ingredients, and will keep your facial Skin barrier healthy to keep the humidity IN, and pollutants to STAY-OUT.

3 Ways To Ensure You Don’t Screw Up And Kill Your Glass Skin Routine…

1) Don’t use too many items: Your face will not thank you if you pile all of your items without giving your skin a rest. Give skin rest, and do not over do your daily Korean regimen. The rule of 3” seems more than enough.
Step one: Gentle cleaning
Step two: Apply a toner(hydration)
Step three Moisturizing Don’t put that lotion, or moisturizer!

Don’t remove; or wash or exfoliate or any other thing; do the other 2 steps and that is enough in daily routine; to make Keep Your Sunscreen Up!

One of the most essential skincare steps I cannot stress it enough is wearing your sun protection on time and space

Step 3 : Don’t be too harsh when it comes to Exfoliating your skin is one way to keep skin healthy as well as younger look but if you are one of them who scrub their face till irritation occurs, be careful, Exfoliating is supposed to remove dead skin cells – gently!! To avoid these many pitfalls like over-exfoliating your skin , use some mild cleanser and maybe try use of a sheetmask for sometime and give time #lifestyle tips for a more natural “glass” skin: –Drink water –sleep-take eat better -avoid stress –exercise-don’t touch your face a lot… “What is the typical time to acquire “glass”skin?”, it can be very subjective. For me it took me up to 2-4weeks (for most visible results – of course the damage of your skin must be less severe.

If for me 2 weeks (30-45min every day) and even for the more serious wounds of skin I did see some results after around 4 – 6weeks (most with very sensitive skin).” – [Koreans Beauty] “Korean girls get into Skincare very early.. You have to use many product that take times to give effects .. “the difference between skin can occur when people is doing properly their Korea daily skincare routine, for 2 weeks you will notice it.. I bet you ,” – Korean Blog “According to Dr.Lily Talakoub… [it] can take as long as several months or even longer… For the vast majority, it could be up to six months, it’s important to stay consistent,”

FrequentlyAskedQuestions
1 – Can anyone achieve skin that looks like glass?

Yes, everyone can certainly see some progress with a solid commitment, especially for conditions such as dullness and even hyperpigmentation, given that their skincare targets these issues and is consistently followed. The individual skin types that people might have does not limit to get any of the best visible results from an effective skincare regimen.

2 -How many steps in a glass skin regiment do I need to go through?

If you’re considering a starter “glass skin regimen,” a routine composed of a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen every day will provide essential nourishment and protection and set the stage.

Adding an essence or serum as you become more familiar with Korean skincare would be a sensible next move.

How to find the perfect foundation shade for your skin tone

Divyanshi Vijay 0

One of the hardest aspects of makeup application is finding the perfect foundation shade for your skin tone. The correct foundation can give you smooth and even skin while the incorrect one can leave your face looking artificial or mismatched. A lot of people pick foundation purely on the color of their skin, but you have to consider your skin tone, undertone, skin type and the foundation formula. In this guide we’ll cover how to pick the perfect foundation shade for your skin tone along with few simple tips to select the foundation.

Why choosing the right foundation shade is important

Foundation is the base of your makeup and picking the right shade will:

Create a natural, skin-like base
Make your makeup blend well

Enhance your features

Reduce your chances of having a cakey or unnatural face. A lighter foundation will make your face seem ash or grey and a dark foundation will create contrast between your face and neck.

What your skin tone really means

Before you start searching for foundation shades, you need to know your skin tone. The general terms are used to categorize the surface color of your skin. They are typically referred to as:

1. Fair skin tone

It’s usually characterized by very light skin that burns easily in the sun.
Suits foundation shades: Light beige, Ivory, porcelain shades.

2. Medium skin tone

The average skin tone mostly seen in India.
Suits foundation shades: Warm beige, Natural beige, sand shades.

3. Dusky skin tone

They have deep and rich complexion, mostly seen in Indian skin tones.
Suits foundation shades: Caramel, Honey, deep beige, Mocha shades.

Skin tone is not all you need to consider when choosing a foundation shade. You also have to determine your undertone.

What exactly is skin undertone?

Skin undertone is the actual color beneath the surface of the skin. Skin tone could change if you get a tan, but the skin undertone will remain consistent.

1. Warm undertone

If you have golden, yellow or peachy hues beneath the surface of your skin you have a warm undertone.
Characteristics: Gold jewelry looks best on your skin and veins on your wrist look green. Skin usually tans easily. Yellow undertones require yellow-based foundations and concealers.
Suits foundation shades: Golden beige, warm honey, yellow based foundation shades.

2. Cool undertone

If your skin has hints of pink, red, or bluish shades below the surface it has a cool undertone.
Characteristics: Silver jewelry enhances your features and veins on your wrist look blue or purple. Skin burns quickly and easily. Pink undertones require pink-based foundations.
Suits foundation shades: Pink beige, rose tones, cool ivory shades.

3. Neutral undertone

This is when the skin is a mix of both warm and cool.
Characteristics: When you can wear both gold and silver jewelry well then this is the undertone you have. Veins can look blue-green and most shades will probably suit you.
Suits foundation shades: Natural beige, Neutral shades.

How to find out your skin undertone at home

If you cannot figure out your skin undertone, here are a few tricks you can use at home to identify your undertone:

The Vein Test:

Look at the veins on the inside of your wrist. If you have green veins, then you have warm undertones. If your veins appear blue or purple, then you have cool undertones. If you have both blue and green veins or a mix, you have neutral undertones.

The Jewelry Test:

Try a few gold and silver jewelry on your wrist. If gold looks better on you, you have warm undertones. If silver looks good on you then you have cool undertones. If both silver and gold suit you, then you have neutral undertones.

The White Cloth Test:

Hold a white piece of cloth near your face without any makeup on it. If your face appears more yellow or golden, then you have warm undertones. If your face seems more pinkish then it is a cool undertone. And if they seem neutral, then you have neutral undertones.

Step by Step Guide To Select Foundation Shade

Once you know your skin tone and undertone, it’s time to find the foundation that is suitable for you.

Step 1: Identify your skin type

The first thing before choosing a foundation color would be to know your skin type.

Oily Skin: Prefer mattifying shades and oil-free formulas.
Dry Skin: Use hydrating or dewier foundations that hydrate and lend a glow to the skin.
Combination Skin: Use a natural finish foundation.

Step 2: Test Foundation on Your Jawline

The simplest way to find the appropriate foundation shade is by testing the foundation directly on your jawline. As your hands can be different in tone to your face, do not test on your hand; use either your jawline or lower part of your cheek where your face and neck meet. The foundation color must blend with both your face and neck.

Step 3: Check in Natural Light

Most of the department store lights are usually not of good quality. It is important to check the color under the natural light before buying foundation. If, you are choosing it from an online store, check for swatches images under natural light and customer reviews.

Step 4: Wait Before Finalizing

Some foundations oxidize after application, which means the color deepens. So, before finally deciding, wait for 10 to 15 minutes. If the foundation is in the correct shade after oxidation, then you can finalize it.

Common foundation mistakes to avoid

Choosing a lighter foundation to match Indian skin tone: A lighter foundation tone when applied will look ash and grey and not like your actual skin tone.

Ignoring the undertone: Even if the foundation shade is accurate, it might be wrong in undertone, making you look unnatural.

Applying it on your hands:Hands have completely different tones when it comes to comparing with the face, so never apply it on the hands.

Buying without research: If you do not test the shade at all or check it under natural light, you end up with wrong shades.

Tips for Indian skin tones

When it comes to choosing foundation shades for Indian skin tones we often choose between warm and neutral undertones.

Avoid extremely pink-based foundations.
It is always better to have a neutral or golden based foundation for Indian skin tone.
Always test your foundation shades on the jawline and also the neck so that the tone should be perfect blending into the two.
Many foundations also change shade after oxidation, so test it and give it some time to settle.

Tips to make your foundation look natural

always moisturize your skin well before applying any makeup
Use a primer for a more even canvas
Use only a thin layer of foundation and never directly heavy application.
Blending well into the neck is essential
Always use makeup tools like foundation brushes or beauty blenders
If you feel it’s too much then apply it sparingly and set it with a little loose powder for a more natural finish.

Final thoughts

Choosing the correct foundation shade for your skin tone is a key part of makeup. A foundation shouldn’t appear to alter your complexion but should blend seamlessly into the skin giving it a natural look. With the tips above, you can easily make sure you get the perfect match without looking artificial and enhancing your beautiful features with the correct foundation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. How can I identify my ideal foundation shade?

10 Common Skincare Mistakes That Are Damaging Your Skin

Divyanshi Vijay 0

10 Common Skincare Mistakes That Are Hurting Your Skin and How to Prevent Them Beauty can be attained without purchasing very costly skincare items. Often, errors in one’s everyday skincare regimen are behind most of the people’s skincare problems. People from around the world are spending their money on expensive creams or serums and yet they end up with dull complexion, dry, acneic, or sensitive skin.

The reason of those failed attempts are mostly an improper skincare routine or bad everyday habits.

In this post, we’re going to look at the most common skincare errors, why those are harmful, and give you solutions on how to fix it

1. Going to Sleep without Removing your Make-up The most typical skincare mistake of any kind is going to bed with your make up on. Over the day, a lot of impurities settle down on the skin, getting mixed with the make-up. If it’s not removed over the night, that can lead to various kind of pimples, dots, and skin issues.

How to fix it: always ensure that you remove your make-up from the face before going to bed.

You could: – micellar water – cleansing balm – oil cleanser Then wash your face with your usual cleansing products. If your make up is heavy (powder or sunscreen based) then it’s advised to try “double cleansing”.

2. Washing your Face more than Once Daily Did you know that washing your face multiple times in a day can also result in one of the many skincare mistakes?

It can strip your skin of its protective, natural barrier and cause redness and dryness. It might also irritate your skin and even boost oil production. How to fix it: Wash your face only once in the morning and once before you go to bed.

However, if your face is heavily perspired (from sports or other strenuous activity), than you are allowed to wash your face multiple times that day.

3.Forgetting Sunscreen One of the most usual skincare mistakes is not using the right protection, which is sunscreen. Sun exposure is responsible for uneven complexion, sun burns, hyperpigmentation, premature signs of aging, and wrinkles. Even if it looks cloudy outside, you’re still at risk of damaging UV ray exposure, because UV rays can penetrate through the clouds. ### How to fix it: Apply every day a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 (or SPF higher).

It should be applied from 15-20 minutes before going outside.

When you are going to be outside more time that is mentioned, reapply sun cream every 2-3 hours. Don’t forget to put sunscreen on while driving because UV rays are able to penetrate glass. —

4. Using a Lot of Skincare Products at the same time Skincare influences and bloggers often advise to layer lots of items and have a long skincare routine at once, but this can lead to skin irritation since items that comprise active ingredients are most likely to conflict.

Retinol, should not be layered at all times with a strong exfoliator. But Vitamin C or other strong serums shouldn’t be used at once either.

How to fix it: When starting off a new skincare regime, try to go minimal.

If you use one cleanser, one moisturizer and one sunscreen, then that’s the best possible skin care routine to enhance skin.

5.You Don’t Pay Attention to Your Skin Type There are quite a few makeup products which are formulated to suit the client’s skin type, and it is also wise to learn your skin type and buy only what works for your skin.

There are five skin types: – oily skin – dry skin – combined skin – sensitive skin – normal skin How to fix this mistake: always select only those products which work properly for your specific skin type. If your skin is oily, you need to buy water based cosmetics and oil free products. If it is dry, then a lot of moisture and cream based products, etc.

People who have sensitive skin should be careful with fragrance products.

6.You’re Over-Exfoliating The process of exfoliating is vital to prevent dead skin cell buildup and to get faster cell turnover, but as with most things in life too much is never good. So when you begin to burn, experience redness, or skin dryness, you are probably over-exfoliating.

How to fix this mistake: use an exfoliator no more than two to three days a week for oily or combination skin, and no more than one to two days for sensitive or dry skin. Then use moisturizer and sunscreen on your skin.

7. You Touch Your Face often Every little bit of bacteria on your hands can cause acne, pimples, and blackheads, that is why touching your face can result in so many skincare mistakes. ### How to Fix: Always keep your hands off the face.

Here is how you can decrease hand touches and enhance it for your skin: – clean your phone screen – wash your make up brushes – wash your pillowcase

8.You Don’t Moisturize Oily Skin One of the major skincare mistakes that lots of people are making is that they don’t use moisturizer. They think that their oily skin doesn’t need any moisture. But it makes it even more oily!

How to fix this mistake: You should always pick moisturizer that is non-comedogenic, is oil-free and has a water-base.

Healthy skin depends on the right amount of hydration.

9.You Have Unrealistic Expectations Skincare regimes often lead to disappointment right when people start, when they don’t see that much of an improvement so they’re most likely to give up immediately. For them, the reality is that you’ll need to stick with one product for a few weeks, maybe even a few months to finally see what they can do.

How to fix this mistake: For how long you will see enhancement is all dependent upon which issues need to be solved: – after one to two weeks: a smoother skin – after six to twelve weeks: an improvement of acne. – after two to three months: less hyperpigmentation. – after three to six months: less signs of aging.

Be patient – it may pay off!

10. You Forget About Lifestyle Changes Even the costliest treatments or solutions won’t be effective if you don’t care for your body from the inside-out. Stress and lack of sleep can hinder the effectiveness of a skincare regimen.

How to fix this mistake: Instead of buying pricey serums, focus on improving your lifestyle habits instead.

Get enough: – sleep – water – exercise – a healthy diet – manage your stress Bonus Tips for Healthy Skin Want to have flawless skin year-round? Alongside the skincare errors, you need to remember about the importance of: – patch testing the new skincare products – don’t share your cosmetics with anyone – throw away the expired skincare products – regularly clean your make up brushes – don’t wash your face with hot water – follow the morning and evening skincare routine

Final Thoughts Perfect skin can’t be obtained overnight. You need to care for the skin consistently, and be patient to observe the effects of the skincare products. Avoiding all the mistakes listed above and having excellent skincare habits is the key to skin glow.

Skincare routine must continue throughout your life.

Minimalist Beauty Is The New Luxury

Divyanshi Vijay 0

For as long as we can remember, the beauty industry has been brainwashing us into thinking that only a 10-step skincare routine and an absolute ton of serums, toners, and eye creams can do the trick. Lately, however, it seems like the reverse has been the case-the more products we use, the more irritated and problem-prone our skin has become.

This is where skinimalism comes in-a minimalist approach to skincare that emphasizes using only what your skin truly needs.

Here are just a few reasons to consider the minimalist way of approaching beauty:

What, exactly, is this Skinimalism?

The term ‘skinimalism’ is actually a blend of two words ‘skin care’ and ‘minimalism.’ Think minimalism, for your skin! Skinimalism is about rebelling against beauty standards and fully embracing the skin we’re naturally blessed with. Rather than hiding our imperfections we want to let our skin heal, using just the right product just when its needed to achieve a healthy-looking complexion.

Why is skin barrier so important?

The skin barrier is essentially the outermost layer of the skin-our skin’s personal guardian. It’s the key to protecting the skin from harmful pathogens, toxins, & pollutants, while also sealing in its moisture & youthfulness.

What occurs when we give our face about 8-10 different kinds of active ingredients, and multiple chemical peels each month?

The skin becomes too sensitized and irritated,

The skin barrier begins letting foreign substances enter.

Random breakouts and blemishes suddenly appear,

Products become less effective and pointless,

Yes you guessed it, By having a limited amount of product within your skincare routine, you give your skin a chance to finally heal instead of harm its self even further.

Three-serum skincare routine

When it comes to minimalist skincare routines, three are key:

Cleanser -> Hydrator -> Sunscreen

1. Morning Cleanser

Instead of a drying, foaming facewash use something that is both mild and effective. Avoid too much, just twice a day with the right cleanser cleans your face and gets rid of any accumulated dirt and excess oil in your pores.

2. Morning Hydration Cream

For your daytime moisturizer, make it something fairly basic, yet effective. The best option would be something that is either Hyaluronic acid based or Niacinamide based since they both have proven anti-aging and hydrating properties. Most day creams should take the place of about 2-3 serums.

3. Night cream with Sunscreen

It’s essential to use sunscreen daily as it’s the most important element in skin care. If you spend money on only one thing this year, then buy quality sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher-uv exposure has been reported as the primary cause of aging, sunspots, fine lines and uneven texture. Remember to wear sunscreen everyday no matter what the season and no matter the conditions in your location,

Beauty Hack 2-how to actually practice the minimalist routine.

Thinking of switching to the minimalist skincare routine; here are a couple ways you can do it effectively:

Finale Before Buying

Finish what you are currently using up and try to only purchase new products once you have run out and are ready to buy something else.

Listen to your skin

Each season your skin requires different products due to the different weather. On hot summer days you don’t need an intense night cream whereas on a cold winter morning, you will likely require a hydrating face cream. Likewise, you should listen to your skin when it comes to usage of active ingredients;

Tinted products over heavy make-up

Instead of wearing a complete foundation for a complete day or night out wear something simpler, like BB Cream or a tinted moisturizer. They have the capability to hydrate your skin and are perfect to create an even skin tone while keeping your skin barrier safe from harmful products.

Beauty Hack 3-The ‘Minimalist Lifestyle’

The state of your skin is only as healthy as the rest of you. Even with the cleanest and most minimalist skincare routine, your skin will only be as clear and healthy as you allow it to be.

Here are things to do:

Hydration

The act of drinking water is for everybody no matter their gender or age but also their background-you should ensure that everyone ensures they’re staying sufficiently hydrated every single day so that you retain optimal skin texture and clarity.

Eat Clean

Most skin problems are aggravated by the use of processed food. Many individuals find that dairy often exacerbates their skin condition resulting in bad acne breakouts. Eating Clean means an integral part of healthy skin.

Stress levels

When an individual encounters stress, the body begins to produce more cortisol, also known as the stress hormone which causes you to produce more oil within your skin, resulting in breakouts-if you get too stressed, make sure that you’re taking breaks during the day.

Closing Thoughts

Now is the time to ease up on the pressure that you’re putting on your skin; investing in something simple and minimalist, but effective is a beneficial method. You’ll not only save money and protect your skin but also learn how to truly enjoy the process.

Beauty Beyond Filters: How to Enhance Your Natural Beauty and Why Self-Care Matters

Divyanshi Vijay 0

As we scroll through social media, we encounter beautiful faces, perfect selfies, and images that seem to glow on the screen – but is this really beauty? The fact is that true beauty is not dependent on high-tech digital filters and expensive cosmetics. It emanates from within and manifests outward in the form of self-confidence, healthy skin, and a beautiful smile.

In this article, you will discover how to take care of your skin, enhance your natural beauty, and develop an authentic appearance without aggressive cosmetics.

In this article, we’ll cover the following points:

1. What makes up natural beauty,

2. How to properly take care of the skin,

3. Ways to achieve natural beauty,

4. How nutrition affects the skin,

5. What to do to look good,

6. How to develop a healthy appearance,

7. What boosts self-confidence,

8. How to enhance beauty from within.

1. What Is Natural Beauty? (Redefining Beauty)

Not so long ago, natural beauty was associated only with a glowing face, beautiful hair, and a bright smile. Now the situation is quite different: we have come to the point where we believe that only made-up faces are beautiful and resort to severe aesthetic standards.

Enhancing your natural beauty does not mean having completely flawless skin, free of any imperfections. Skin is our body’s largest organ and, like any other, it is subject to imperfections. Even if you have sensitive, oily, or tired skin, this does not mean that you cannot achieve natural beauty.

By developing healthy habits and proper skincare, you will reveal your radiance and confidence.

And you will realize that no cosmetic masks can replace self-confidence. Remember that!

2. The 4 Basic Steps of Skin Care (CTMS)

Taking care of the skin is not as difficult as many people think. To achieve good results, you need to follow only four basic steps, which are often referred to by the acronym CTMS (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing, Sunscreen).

A. Cleansing

During the day, our skin accumulates dead cells, environmental toxins, and excess oil. To remove them, use a suitable cleanser. Wash your face twice a day – in the morning and evening. For dry skin, cream-type cleansers are ideal; for oily skin, choose gel-type cleansers.

B. Toning

The main function of toners is to regulate the pH balance and remove residual cleansing cream. You can use natural rose water for this. This method is much safer than using chemical toners.

C. Moisturizing

Almost all skin types, regardless of oily or dry, need a moisturizing cream. It saturates the skin with nutrients and protects it from the outside. Choose a light cream that will not clog pores.

D. Sunscreen

If you take all the painstaking steps above and forget to put on sunscreen, then your efforts will be in vain. Sunscreen is included in the CTMS complex for a reason. UV rays are the main enemy of the skin, destroying its youth and causing malignant tumors. Sunscreens with a high sun protection factor (SPF) are a must – every day, whether in bad weather or sunshine.

3. Natural Beauty Remedies (Beauty Hacks)

Natural beauty hacks are one of the easiest ways to achieve glowing skin. They are very effective and inexpensive – since they are made right in the kitchen.

Hack Number 1: A mixture of gram flour, curd, and turmeric will help whiten the skin and remove the tan. Just apply this mixture to the skin for 15 minutes and rinse with water.
Hack Number 2: Aloe vera gel has fantastic anti-inflammatory properties. To use it, simply rub a small amount of gel on your face before bedtime.
Hack Number 3: Fuller’s earth helps fight oily skin and prevent the appearance of pimples. To do this, mix the powder with rose water to make a consistency of cream and apply to the face.
Hack Number 4: Honey is known for its moisturizing and nourishing properties. Apply it to the face, leave it for 10 minutes, and rinse it off with lukewarm water.

4. How to Improve Your Beauty From Within?

The saying that you are what you eat is not an empty phrase – your beauty also depends on how much water you drink and what you eat.

A. Water

It is vital to drink at least 8 – 10 glasses of water a day. It saturates the skin with moisture and removes toxins. You will notice that your skin becomes more elastic and has a healthy glow.

B. Food

Your diet should be rich in vitamins and minerals. The most calorie-rich but healthy foods are seasonal fruits (especially citrus, pomegranates, and papayas) and nuts (walnuts, almonds). To maintain healthy skin, it is important to give up processed foods, fast food, and carbonated drinks.

C. Beauty Sleep

It is vital to go to bed at least 7-8 hours. While sleeping, the body heals and renews itself; lack of sleep damages the skin and makes it look tired. Never underestimate the importance of beauty sleep!

5. How to Take Care of Hair?

Healthy and beautiful hair enhances beauty and highlights the face. Several simple rules will help you achieve good results:

1. Regularly oil the hair – this will help stimulate blood circulation and remove flakes.
2. Use quality and natural shampoos – avoid those containing parabens and sulfates.
3. Avoid using hot irons and curling irons – they dehydrate the hair and damage the protein structure.

6. The Importance of Inner Beauty and Confidence

The most crucial element of natural beauty is self-confidence. The confidence that comes from within will manifest itself in a beautiful smile and a radiant face. If you start to feel tension, stress, or anxiety about your appearance, it will be reflected in your skin.

That is why it is important to take care of your mental health.

Do relaxing exercises, practice yoga, affirm yourself, and accept your appearance.

7. Beauty Habits You Should Incorporate Into Your Daily Life

To look good, you need not only to invest in your appearance but also to change your attitude towards yourself. Some of the most effective self-care methods are as simple as:

* Going to bed early,

* Eating right,

* Taking care of your skin and hair.

8. Final Thoughts on Achieving Natural Beauty

There is no universal standard for natural beauty – it is unique in every girl. True beauty is a state of balance that combines a healthy appearance, good-looking skin, and proper hair care. In addition, beauty depends on physical activity, a balanced diet, and the right attitude towards yourself. Although you will certainly not achieve obvious results right after, with the right care, your skin will definitely look better.

So forget about photo editing and aggressive cosmetics and unveil your natural beauty!

The Ultimate Skincare Routine for Glowing Skin: A No-Nonsense Guide to Radiant Skin

Divyanshi Vijay 0

If someone on the street were to ask me, “Hey, what is the actual secret to glowing skin?” or “How do I set up the perfect skincare routine?”—my answer would always be the exact same. Healthy, radiant skin isn’t achieved through a single miracle cream, an expensive serum, or overnight magic. It is the result of a disciplined skincare routine, the right products, and most importantly—a healthy lifestyle.

Nowadays, there are thousands of skincare brands in the market. Every third product claims that applying it will make your face instantly shine like silver. But the truth is, until you adopt the right method and consistency, no product will show its true results. If you want a natural glow from within, you have to take care of your skin daily, just like we eat food every day.

First, we must accept that everyone’s skin is different. Some have oily skin, while others have dry, combination, or sensitive skin. Therefore, don’t blindly buy products just by watching an influencer; always set a routine tailored to your specific skin type. However, there are certain basic steps that apply to every skin type. Let’s understand them step-by-step

The Daily AM (Morning) & PM (Night) Ritual

Step 1: Cleansing (Cleaning the Face)

Every skincare routine should always begin with a clean canvas, meaning cleansing. Throughout the day, dust, dirt, pollution, sebum (oil), and sweat accumulate on our faces. If we don’t clean this off, our skin pores will get blocked, leading to issues like acne, blackheads, and dullness.

Morning Cleansing: Washing your face right after waking up in the morning is important to clean away the natural oils generated overnight and to make the skin feel fresh.

Night Cleansing: This step is the most crucial. Going to sleep without removing the day’s sunscreen, dirt, and makeup is like waging war against your own skin.

Pro Tip: Choose a gentle face wash according to your skin type. Avoid harsh soaps or overly strong cleansers that leave your face feeling stripped, dry, or tight after washing.

Step 2: Toner (The First Layer of Hydration)

Many people think that toner is just water, so why is it necessary? But the truth is, after washing your face, the skin’s pH balance gets a bit disturbed. A good alcohol-free toner instantly hydrates the skin and tightens pores. Its biggest benefit is that it helps your next skincare products (serums and moisturizers) absorb much better into the skin. If you are looking for a chemical-free option, there is nothing better than pure Rose Water.

Step 3: Serum (Targeted Treatment)

If we were to call a serum the “heart” of a skincare routine, it wouldn’t be wrong. They contain a very high concentration of active ingredients that target specific skin problems.

For Dull Skin: Use a Vitamin C serum; it evens out the skin tone and brings out a bright glow.

For Dehydrated Skin: Apply a Hyaluronic Acid serum, which locks moisture directly into the skin.

For Oily & Acne-Prone Skin: A Niacinamide serum is best because it controls sebum production and makes pores look smaller.

How to Apply: Never rub serum between your palms and scrub it onto your face. Just take 2–3 drops and gently pat it onto your face using your fingertips so that the skin absorbs it naturally.

Step 4: Moisturizer (The Skin’s Shield)

My skin is oily, why do I need a moisturizer?”—If you think this way too, you are making a massive mistake. Having oily skin does not mean your skin is hydrated. When you skip moisturizer, your skin actually dries out and starts producing even more oil to compensate.

Dry Skin: Use a heavy, cream-based moisturizer.

Oily/Combination Skin: Choose a lightweight, gel-based or water-based moisturizer that doesn’t feel sticky.

Moisturizer protects your skin barrier and makes it soft, supple, and bouncy.

Step 5: Sunscreen (The Ultimate Game Changer)

If you were to ask me which product is the most important in the entire routine, my answer without a second thought would be—Sunscreen! If you are following all the other steps but skipping sunscreen, your entire skincare routine is wasted.

The sun’s UV rays cause premature aging (wrinkles), hyperpigmentation, tan lines, and deep skin damage. Therefore, applying a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every single day is mandatory.

Whether the sky is cloudy or it’s the winter season, UV rays are always present.

If you spend a lot of time outdoors in the sun, reapplying sunscreen every 2–3 hours is essential.

Night Routine: The Repair Mode

The nighttime is healing time for the skin. While we sleep, our skin works on cell regeneration. Therefore, never miss your night skincare routine.

At night, first perform a Double Cleansing (first remove makeup/sunscreen with micellar water or an oil cleanser, then follow up with your regular face wash). After this, apply a toner, your favorite night serum (like Retinol for anti-aging, or Hyaluronic acid for deep hydration), and lock it all in with a good moisturizer. Night products work deeply and effectively without any daytime environmental disruptions.

Weekly Extras: Pamper Your Skin

Exfoliation (Scrubbing): Use a gentle physical scrub or a chemical exfoliant (like AHA/BHA) 1–2 times a week. This removes dead skin cells, revealing fresh, glowing skin from underneath. Avoid over-scrubbing, otherwise, your skin can get irritated or scratched.

Face Masks: During your Sunday pamper sessions, you can use homemade masks. Natural ingredients like honey, aloe vera, yogurt, or oatmeal deeply nourish the skin and provide a natural, calming effect.

Inside Out: The Skincare and Lifestyle Relationship

I always tell my customers and readers—whatever is going on inside your body will inevitably reflect on your face. You can apply the world’s most expensive serum, but if your lifestyle is poor, that glow will never show up.

Hydration: Drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water every day. It flushes out toxins from the inside and provides a natural radiance.

Diet: Stay away from junk food, oily food, and excessive sugar. Include fresh fruits, green vegetables, nuts (almonds, walnuts), and protein-rich foods in your diet. Foods rich in antioxidants keep the skin looking youthful.

Sleep (Beauty Sleep): Get at least 7–8 hours of restful sleep. The skin repairs itself only when you sleep. Incomplete sleep rewards you with dark circles and dull skin.

Exercise & Stress Management: Doing yoga, going to the gym, or even a brisk walk increases blood circulation in the body, which delivers vital oxygen to skin cells. Additionally, managing stress keeps cortisol (the stress hormone) low, which prevents sudden pimple breakouts.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Too Many Products At Once: Do not start using 5 new products all at the same time. This damages your skin barrier and causes your skin to react or break out.

Over-Washing: Washing your face repeatedly strips away the skin’s natural oils, making it dry and flaky. Twice a day is more than enough.

Sleeping with Makeup On: This is the absolute biggest crime against your skin. Sleeping with makeup blocks pores, and you’ll wake up to a giant pimple the next morning.

Impatience: Skincare is not magic. Give any product at least 6 to 8 weeks to show its effects. Stop switching products every single week.

Final Verdict: Consistency is the Key

Follow this routine with discipline, eat a healthy diet, stay happy, and minimize stress. When you give your skin a little love and care every single day, its texture will gradually improve, your complexion will look healthy, and a natural glow will emerge that no makeup product can ever replicate.

After all, healthy skin is the most beautiful skin! Start listening to your skin today and begin the right routine.
